Special trailer with lifting device for house segments

House segments are to be driven from the factory hall to the building ground by vehicles for which B+E driving license is sufficient. There they will be connected with the foundation screws.

A house segment is 530 cm long, 253 cm wide and 344 cm high. During transport, the house segment should be at a height of 55 cm, so as to remain just below the 4 m height limit. At the building site, the house segment has to be caulked to a height of 70 cm and then fixed on the foundation screws at a height of 65 cm.

A special trailer is needed for this purpose. Because of the low height, 3 axles are needed. The wheels need their own drive to be able to maneuver on the building ground without a towing vehicle.

In order to be able to use the trailers in a variety of ways, it should be investigated whether the same trailer can also be used to transport a 2.5 t electric excavator.
